I have a Brother 1034D serger,and it's served me very well for the past 6 years. I'd like to upgrade to something with more bells and whistles one day,but the Brother has been very good value for money.
I also have a Brother PE 190D embroidery machine. honestly though I don't love it. I bought it cos I got a very good deal,and I thought I could leave it embroidering while I got on sewing,but the damn thing knows if I'm not sat right there watching it!

So cute! I don't own either of the machines you want, but my mother does, so I will ask her and get back to you with her thoughts. She knows quite a bit about sewing and such.
